^^Very well said^^ LOL Obama is doing that very think right now with entitlements. He cut Medicare to seniors with his health plan, was discussing cutting down much of Social Security...but instead did nothing, waited for the Republican house plan, then started saying that it was unfair and Repubs hate poor people, LOL! Obama is about as far from a fearless leader as you can get!

Clinton road the wave of the .com era and the tech boom. He had nothing to do with the economical growth during his presidency. Bush had to deal with two wars and a democrat house majority.

The democrat house majority was during his second term, during his first term he let the republican controlled congress, which is both the house and the senate, make laws that let the banks fuck America, which lead to the pretty much economic collapse of 2009 and 10. So dont get ahead of yourself. During his second term he vetoed bills that would have fixed the economy because they werent republican backed bills. People really should stop blaming Obama for everything that is wrong with the country today. The p******** doesnt have magical powers. He can only act within the scope of his powers laid out by the constituion. Do some homework, the money the governemnt spends is appropriated by the republican controlled House of Representatives. Any Laws made are created in the Democrat controlled Senate. All the p******** does is sign the checks, and give out the attaboys. And he can veto laws and appropriation bills too, which he's been doing, btw.. If the tea party repubs had their way, we poor folk would be led around back and shot..

Doesn't everyone have the ability to stop being poor. My family and i were once very poor and now aren't at all. It's hard but it can be done. I don't understand why the government keeps giving poor handouts instead of a hand up. The wealthy are wealthy for a reason and the poor stay poor for a reason. No one believes in survival of the fittest anymore.

Well some people just cant do it, they live pay check to pay check, and sometimes it isnt enough. Just because you're sporting the silver spoon, doesnt mean everybody else can, especially when you stingy bastards wont spend a dime in the community. I make 40k a year, I BARELY get by.. And I only have MYSELF to support, I dont have a fancy car, and I pay rent, which goes up year after year. I wont even consider buying a house, because i'll get ripped off and lose it, like i seen happen to most of my friends, thanks in part to republican GREED. And we are civilized, not wild, so survival of the fittest is an obsolete notion. Some people can work hard and still not make ends meet, that's reality, and another reality is sometimes you need a helping hand. Get over yourself, some of us arent as lucky as you are, but you wouldnt know that because you refuse to see the big picture, because you take your rich lifestyle for granted.. Need beats Greed. I have everything I need and some of what I want. I dont need to have it all..

The Republicans have lost respect because they have moved to far to the left. The Reps. are now, what the Dems were in 1964 when Kennedy was Pres. The Dems have moved so far to the left that they are almost commies or progressives.
If the Reps, want respect again they would be working on..
1. Closing the borders and deporting illegals.
2.Stop fucking around with the wars we have now and either get out or bomb the fuckers till they change their ways.
3.Bringing back all the jobs that ran overseas to save a few bucks.
4. Tell the world we wont stand for their shit anymore and if they dont like it, they will face the wrath of the USA. We wont bow down to them anymore because we are the best and always will be.
5. Kick the UN out of the USA and drop out of it completely.
6. Any country that receives aid from the US, better show how it was used and used properly or all aid will be cut off.
I know it is just a pipe dream, but the USA could be a great country again if they were not so PC and grew some nuts.

There isn't anything wrong with being progressive. I mean PROGRESS is an every day thing. It's time we started putting aside the moral boundaries we have imposed upon politics and started doing the right thing. And we are no better then any other country in the world, arrogance is an evil trait plain and simple. Everybody should pay 10% in taxes ACROSS THE BOARD, the more you make, the more you pay, it's fair, the rich paying less taxes then the poor is unethical. Letting big business outsource jobs is unethical. These companies, that during the GW Bush administration, that raped the american people and smiled about it, should be tried for treason, and publicly executed. Our freedoms are being stepped on every day, and apparently it's okay. Case in point, abortion, yeah it's 100% wrong, but to make it illegal would infringe upon the freedom of choice, which is unethical.
Morality has too many shades of gray, Ethics does not. These politicians are ethically bound to serve their constituents. They don't, all they care about are their own personal agendas, nothing more. It's time we got past those boundaries and did things like Socializing Medical care, it's not all that bad. But if we did the insurance companies would go broke, so we won't because we're a business controlled country. Socialism is not the same as communism, those that disagree, should take a political science class. Capitalism and Socialism can coexist, look at most of the EU, and they're more economically stable then the US.
Life, liberty within the law of the land, and the pursuit of happiness. Life also includes being able to take care of yourself when your sick, liberty includes freedom of choice, and the pursuit of happiness means you can be as greedy as you want..
