I used to use minimal amounts. That didn't seem to do the job well enough though. You just gotta use a decent amount of tp. I felt dirty and the smell from my shit lingered in my mind and that made even more worried.
The smell of shit will definitely stain your fingers if you don't use a thick bunch of toilet paper. I know because its happened to me before. I had to wash my hands 10 times with antibacterial soap before the smell was entirely gone.
Makes me wonder how they get things done in poor nations in Asia and Africa where people will just pull up and take a shit in the street even when toilet paper isn't available. I can just imagine the stench in those countries - especially the Asian laneways and backstreets.
