well, if you have to get in-n-out fast, just taking the tv is the goal. the remote and power cord can be replaced easy. Sort of like stealing a computer...forget the keyboard and mouse, you can replace those cheap.
But, that's beside the point. Someone that steals your shit ... not cool. Folks work hard for their money and their stuff, then some asshole shows up and takes it. Makes the rest of us wonder why we obey laws and follow "the system" when others ignore it and prey upon us.
Cops probably aren't doing jack shit about this either. "Oh, just let your insurance cover it" or something.
