The people who used serious psychedelics in the 60s were a pretty small percentage, and there's little reason to think that they're the ones who obtained corporate and political power. If you can pin the blame for the current state of affairs on a single decade, it's much more likely to be the "Me Generation" of the 70s or the "Greed is good" folks of the 80s.
