...and Rodney King was beaten because he was high as a kite and assaulted the officers. People high on strong narcotics often require multiple subduers and heavy violence because they don't feel pain.

Yeah, he wasn't beaten simply because he was black. Why dont you tell the full story of what led to his arrest and beat-down. Like Chris Rock said "don't fuck with the police!"
