Sister-in-laws boyfriend would mean its your brother,and her husband not boyfriend. Her telling you if this was real, which it obviously isn't would already be enough to make her do something, since the party in question is your brother. Should've thought that post through a bit more if you wanted it to sound real, but I guess there is a sucker born every minute.
I am not knocking fantasy, but if your "confessions" aren't real, perhaps one could lead with it is just a story, and then perhaps said tale wouldn't be under such scrutiny...
