i work in adult films as a gaffer, it is my way of making a living, and on behalf of the entire industry i beg you all to stop visiting awful tube porn stream websites. we cant afford to produce films, pay the actresses/actors, pay the film makers, and pay the distributors if everyone watches everything for free. do your part and chip in to enjoy the movies. the industry is at an absolute all time low with no actress lasting no more than 2 years in the business.

Ok I maybe the only one here to have some authority to speak. I worked in video stores and adult stores all over North America, and for a North American supplier (no names), for over 30 years. I eventually owned my own store, and I continue to work in other parts of the entertainment field today (which I hide my porn past from when I can).
Back in the 80’s when I first started working and managing video stores (as well as adult stores), I saw from the supplier invoice that we were selling tapes 3 and sometimes 4 times market value.
I put on a fake smile and ripped the customer off, because at that age I needed a job.
When I owned my own store I charged the same shit mark-up, because I was old enough and wise enough to know that this is how the video retail business works…And I hated it.
When I worked for an adult video supplier (no names), I began to see how they marked up their sales as well. I knew the company had expenses; but they were spending pennies on shipping and marketing. Stars camera crew, editors, graffers (like you) and other employees cost money; however they were making enough to pay them 1000 times over. Stars like Jenna Jameson and Silvia Saint maybe super hot; however young people have no idea how these porn stars lacked in sexual talent compared to pornstars of yesteryears like Rene Bond or Annie Sprinkle (That woman was amazing!). Non of the porn stars working then were worth the money they made (I’m so glad to see their paychecks hit dirt).
The biggest crooks in the adult industry were unions; I can say this because when I worked for the union, they did NOTHING for me when I got wrongly canned. It’s almost like we were being paid not to tell the world its one big shell game.
So now you have the audacity to demand we play fair…No wait! You demand we go back to getting ripped off by people like you again!?!

Hell, even if you HAD to pay for pro porn, amateur porn will always be free and frankly, is better than 99% of professional porn.
