Hi I am a complete idiot when it comes to computers and I really need some help.

I have an HP Pavilion with windows 7
9650 quad core processor
4 memory slots (2 black 2 blue)
replaced my PSU a bit more then two years ago

Anyway about a week ago I got the dreaded BSOD. I really didnt think much of it and my computer restarted. Things are going fine until the next morning. I wake up and log on to my PC I go to use the internet (safari, Internet explorer, and google chrome) but it keeps saying not connected to the internet. My phone (connected to same modem through wifi), my other computer and two different lap tops are all able to get online. I try to check my network connections but every time I click it would freeze my PC so I restart. This allows me to get online. I am using the internet for awhile until I get blue screened again. Same deal PC restarts. At this time I think my computer may be dusty so I open it up to clean it. But still after surfing the net I run in to one of three issues. It says internet not connected, BSOD, or the entire page gets really fuzzy and freezes. I have asked around and have been told things like I may have bad memory. Did the memory diognostic test and removed the one it said was bad but ran in to the same issue did another test and it said another stick was bad...removed it and ran in to the same issue! Now its not just doing it while online but it will get fuzzy or BSOD at random times. Even at start up!

I have also restored my computer to factory settings twice (cant figure out how to do a destructive restore) I have all my private information including sensative work info, bank info and other personal financial info. Even though I did a factory restore Im scared of places recovering my information and completly wiping me out.
