Flash as most people know it is being phased out in favour of something that is integrated directly into browsers rather than needing a separate downloaded entity as things have been.

However Apple have made their position very clear they will not directly support or allow/licence any product for the iPhone that incorporates flash in any way. In the words of Steve Jobs "If you want a phone buy an apple, If you want to view porn buy something else"
Apple have long had a strict anti-porn stance and Jobs had it written into their rules before he died that nobody is allowed to change it.
